I guess it's my turn to introduce myself to the other contestants. Hi, my name is Stephen and I want to be the Biggest Loser! WOOO! I guess I'll go right into the questions:
1. Why are you doing this? The short answer is that I want to be in better shape. The long(er) answer is that for a while I've felt like I've been passing through the physical prime of my life and haven't been taking advantage of it. This contest will be my push to reach a higher level of physical fitness. And also I wanna win some of yall's money.
2. What do you want to achieve in the next 12 weeks? I want to develop eating and exercise habits that I can maintain. If you want some numbers, I want to lose 5 pounds.
3. What is your long-term fitness goal and how do you plan to accomplish it? I want to run a 10K in under 50 minutes (although I'm really shooting for 42-45 minutes). To get there I will be running 5 days a week without a personal trainer. Someday I will run a half marathon, but for now I think this is a much more realistic goal.
Well, that's it for me. The 'hawks start in a few minutes, so I need to get my game face on. Good luck everyone!
