Have a great time in Sacramento, Loree! I will be living vicariously through you. As a 3rd generation Coug (with a 4th generation - not my son, the jerk - niece as an alum), I will be there in spirit. I'm pretty sure the last time we were competitive, was the year Bill and I got married - 1983. We had a date at the Coug/Husky b-ball game...which we, yes, sigh, lost. And then went on to lose, I'm fairly certain, in the first round. So, GO COUGS. And, GO BADGERS. And GO ZAGS (unless you happen to be playing against my Cougs).
As Bill and I were googling to find out the distance for Lake Union, we came upon this really cool website. Those of you who have been running for more than a taxi or a bus, probably know about the Running Routes map. But, we sure hadn’t seen it before, and it’s now labeled in our “favorites”. To find running/walking routes around your home, just select “find a route”, position your cursor, click and drag. Now that daylight savings time is here (I’m with you on that one, Jen!), this map may come in handy.
