Day of Reckoning--week 1

First-great job Bill & Lori on the exercise! I'm impressed you banged out those work outs despite the lack of sleep (always tough for me).

So...today was my first weigh-in day and (drum roll please!) I am down exactly 1 pound. Although I won't earn weight loss points this week, it's moving in the right direction. I'll take it! Next week's weigh in may be rough since I've added weight training this week, which usually means a tough time at the scale for me.

My work outs have been going well and tomorrow will be my fifth day this week. I credit Neil Diamond, who I have been playing obsessively on my Ipod, for getting me through my runs. Thanks Neil!

Stephen and I have eaten EVERY MEAL AT HOME (or brought to work from home) this week, which is huge for us. It's been fun for me to do more cooking and experiment with different recipes. I need to do our meal planning for next week and plan to try Bill & Lori's scallop recipes--any other ideas would be awesome!

Way to go Jen! We just made a Rachel Ray meal - turkey cacciatore burgers on a portabello bun. Really, really good......
