Seahawks sans beer and chips

Good luck to all of us watching the game today without our regular snacks. Bill and I will be eating 200 calories worth of carrots (thank you Stephen for that illuminating website...) and washing it down with yet more water.

We both exercised today. I worked really late last night, so didn't take the opportunity to exercise. Today, with little sleep and no real motivation, I pushed myself through 35 minutes on the treadmill. Bill kept up his standard 45 on the elliptical. I DID NOT WANT to exercise this morning, and I'm really proud of myself for making it through. I'm walking just under a 15 minute mile...I have a long way to go to cut 3 minutes off my time and keep it up for 4 miles.

Kathy T, thanks for the info on the St Patty's day run/walk. Bill and I signed up for the "yellow wave" (aka the Walk/Crawl). Any other joiners? When you read the website for the run, there is a link to Brooks Sports and their Thursday night run/walk around Greenlake. It starts in February, and I think we'll do that too.
