Stepping it up: Jen hires personal trainer


Not to be outdone by his uncle Gus, Hugo joins the fun and takes on a challenging role as Jen's personal trainer. Here, he is shown instructing her in the proper way to complete a hip stretch. He's a demanding coach, but assures Jen that through his guidance and her hard work prize money is in their future (he will receive a new Kong as a bonus).

Week 2 is starting well. Yesterday and today I did 30 minutes of weight training followed by 20 minutes of high intensity interval training. If you're shopping for a workout program, I highly recommend the Body for Life cardio and weight training methods (www.bodyforlife.com). I do both the cardio & weights on the same day and then supplement with my running. I am SORE, I tell ya! (though the stretching seems to help)

I have also been hungry, but am taking that as a sign that my plan is working. Last week I felt suspiciously satisfied...
