Food plans

To respond to Karen's questions about food plans: I may attend WW, since I, too, am a lifetime member. Last spring I was traveling too much to attend WW meetings, but I followed a 5-6 small meals/day plan and lost 20 lbs (and put six back on this fall ). Even tho' it wasn't WW, I actually really liked the plan and found it fairly easy to follow.

For today and this week at least, we're doing the "small meal" thing. I will buy a roasted chicken, skin it and shred the meat. I can eat off of that for breakfast (really, it's good) and lunch all week. In addition, I am going to make two soups from the You on a Diet book. They look good, and I know they will be filling. And then Bill and I will have what we lived on during WW: a small piece of fish or meat, and a lot of grilled veggies.

Jen and Col - way to go on the Greenlake run. Karen - two trips on the treadmill? You rock!
